We are now looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer for a long-term and technically challenging consulting assignment with our client ABB, with the possibility of further assignments within our consulting operations. The role is suitable for you who want to work in technically advanced environments and contribute throughout the development chain from concept to finished solution.

As an Electronics Engineer, you will work on the development and design of electronic systems and components, often in close collaboration with other engineers such as mechanical, software, and automation. The assignments include both new development and further development of existing solutions within industrial and energy-related applications.

You are expected to work independently, take technical responsibility, and apply established engineering methods in complex project environments.

• Electronics design (analog and digital electronics)

• Circuit diagrams, PCB design, and review

• Industrial automation and control systems

• Embedded systems and interfaces

• Testing, verification, and troubleshooting

• EMC, electrical safety, and relevant standards

• Documentation and technical specifications

• CAD/EDA tools: Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, KiCad

• Circuit diagrams & documentation: AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN

• Simulation & analysis: MATLAB / Simulink, PSpice, LTspice

• Testing & verification: Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, measuring equipment

• Version and requirements management: Git, Jira, DOORS

• Office & reporting: MS Office

• Plan, design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems

• Work with automation-related solutions where applicable

• Coordinate technical activities in cross-functional teams

• Perform advanced technical analyses and investigations

• Develop technical recommendations based on engineering practices, business requirements, and standards

• Ensure correct documentation and traceability

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics or equivalent

• At least 6 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in industrial or technically advanced development environments

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner

• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• A long-term consulting assignment with ABB
